Student Projects
Project-based learning is a key component of Noble FLEX. Disciplines including English Language Arts, Social Studies, Math, Science and Health are explored through interdisciplinary, inquiry-based units that culminate in a project that has an impact on a wider community. Student work is complied into Portfolios that show mastery of curricular standards and twenty-first century skills and allow for reflection on individual growth.

Art Gallery
Learning with Noble Flex reaches many different disciplines. For this project, students collaborated with district art teacher Karyn Smith to develop individual art projects suited to their interests and areas of growth. The final products were shared in an art show open to school families and the community.

Literary Playlists
This website is the product of our largest project this year, spanning several months and multiple books. Over the course of this project, we did an in-depth character analysis in the books Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry, published in 1976 by Mildred D. Taylor, and To Kill a Mockingbird, published in 1960 by Harper Lee. We have studied the story arcs and assigned fitting music to the rising action, falling action, and resolution of specific characters, as well as identified themes for each novel.

Planning to Thrive
Students worked with community members and parents to learn about elements of a healthy lifestyle. They created and followed up on health learning plans with volunteer clients. The culmination of the project was a public service announcement created in collaboration with Berwick Community Media.

Welcome to Noble FLEX's digital history tour of North Berwick, Berwick and Lebanon, Maine!
Over seven weeks we visited community landmarks, researched local history and interviewed community experts to uncover stories about our area's past and present. Click on each landmark to view the stories we have discovered.

Student Portfolios
Noble FLEX is a unique learning program that gives students more educational opportunities than they might have in other schools, such as Lego Robotics, hikes, and many other fun projects.
Each year students create digital portfolios to showcase and reflect on their work throughout the year.
